Change...

Today I felt a desperate need for change.

The bakers rack in my dining room had become a huge eyesore, and a catch-all. I have been thinking about getting rid of it for a long time, and my dear friend Cindy has been expressing some interest into taking it off my hands. So anyway, today I got the urge to empty it all out and shove it half way into my trunk and drive the 2 blocks over to Cindy's and drop it off. It really was funny that I got it in my car, but I am so glad that it is gone!

My dining room looks so different, I moved the small kids table over to where the bakers rack was and turned that into a little study/homework table. All it took was the little desk organizer that I won at yesterday's crop, and a $.50 lamp that I bought at a yard sale a few weeks ago.

To add even more room to the space I took the leaf out of the big table, since we dont need a table that big. I also hung the new sign that I bought yesterday at Craft Warehouse with my 40% off ticket. Yay!!!

I cant wait to paint this space, and I am thinking that this coming weekend is looking good for doing that. But we'll see.

On to other things, I have gotta say that the crop yesterday was soooo much fun!!!! I was able to get 4 layouts done. And I think I ate a cupcake for each layout completed. oooops! It was really nice to hang out with the cool girls all day. We definitely had the most fun at the crop. We got our own little room with 4 other rowdy ladies and just had a blast!! They brought a laptop and played chick flicks on it all day. Got to watch Sweet Home Alabama, and How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, two of my faves!!!! The lime-ade at Sonic was excellent as always, and the taco bar at the crop was delish!! It was a perfect National Scrapbook Day!!!

Lets talk about NSD......

no its not some horrible sexually transmitted disease.....

What it does mean, is National Scrapbook Day.
Its a very special day, that only comes around once a year.
A day for cropping, laughing, hangin with my BFF's, and eating way too much junk food.
Tomorrow, we crop! I am so ready to get creative, and I know, I always say that. Then when the times comes to actually do it, I cant. Lately its been so hard to even get one tiny creative thought to enter my brain, and then stay in my brain long enough for my brain to tell my body to execute it. So sad.

So anyway, tomorrow is about my girls and spending some good time with them in a new crop space. I am so exited for Sonic Lime-ade!!!!

Check this out

Elsie posted this picture (along with about a gazzillion others) but anywho, this one caught my eye. It makes me laugh. But it also makes me sad at the same time. I dont want to be obese anymore. Am I even considered obese? I know in my mind I am, but what about medically? Anyway, it doesnt matter. I need to work on this.

I think I am going to print this out and plaster it all over my kitchen....................

Look into my crystal ball...

I was sitting here thinking about how fast time goes by. Here it is almost May. We are 1/3 of the way through 2008. I feel like there is so much I need or want to do this year.

Things I would like to do in 2008:

Get a laptop
Paint the dining room
Paint Bubba's room.
Take my family to Seattle
Get a new bra (this one makes me laugh)
Get new carpet in my bedroom
Go to La Grande and eat at the Foley Station
Visit my friend Rene in Jefferson
Go somewhere besides Portland with Dennis, just the two of us
Visit my dad in Coulee City
Take water aerobics with my friends this summer
Get a new filing cabinet and organize all my files
Start selling Pampered Chef
Go shopping at IKEA
Eat at the Melting Pot
Get a new fence put up
Clean the upholstry in my car
Get a raise
Lose weight
See my beautiful friend Carina
Teach the kids how to cook stuff
Go to the dentist (dont wanna)
Get new glasses
Pay my bills on time

I am sure there will be more things that come up as the year goes on.

Whats on your list?

Great day for a limo ride

Well, Bubba is turning 13 this Wednesday! So in honor of his birthday we rented this limo to take us up to Tri-cities for dinner at Applebees. It was a great day. Dennis and I kept the whole Limo thing a secret. We met the limo driver down in Umatilla and the kids were SO excited!!! Bubba really wanted to have ribs for his birthday dinner so we went up to Applebees and he got the full rack of baby backs and ate it ALL!! Then we came back in to town and the driver took us all around Hermiston. Bubba and his friend had a good time sticking their heads out the window and waving to everyone. They wanted to make sure that people saw that it was THEM in the limo!!!

If anyone is in need of limo service, I strongly recommend Racing Limos of Tri Cities. The driver, and owner, of the limo is super nice. Their prices are extremely competitive, and the limo is so cool compared to one of the black or white town car limos.

Bubba has been saying all day that it was the best birthday present ever.....

Cool yer jets.....

Sorry I havent posted in a while. I hope you all enjoyed my video. I will probably be making more videos in the future. That one was way too fun.

Whats new with us? Well, we have been looking for a new car. I have been driving a lot of different cars. Today I drove one that I absolutely fell in love with. It was by far the nicest car I have ever driven in my life. It was a 2007 Nissan Altima, its absolutely gorgeous, and a little out of our price range. I mean, we could get it, and the car payment would be ok I guess. It just scares me a little you know? Like what if something happens to the car, or our money? Ugh, I dont know, its just scary. I guess I am just having mixed feeling because our current car (pile of shit) will be paid off in a few months, and then we will have some extra cash. So would I like to just drive an "ok" car and have extra money to be able to go places? Or would I like to drive a great car, and not be able to go anywhere???

decisions, decisions....

The premiere

With a little more planning we could have had like a red carpet event or something.
