Down 3.2

Yup, weight watchers tonight, weighed in and lost another 3.2 pounds. I was so excited because I didnt really think I had lost any. So anyway, after the meeting we all went out to dinner. Bubba got to choose because of his good report card, and he chose Chinese. I get there and ate way too much, the food tasted like doo-doo, then I got my fortune cookie and this is what it said:

"Use your abilities at this time to stay focused on your goal. You will succeed."

You can imagine, I felt like a complete ass sitting there stuffing my face with crappy food. So anyway, no more crappy Chinese. If I eat Chinese, its going to be somewhere nice like P.F. Changs.

Word.

Before......

This is me.
Photo taken 8/10/2005, just a little over 2 years ago.
This is what I looked like with long hair, and NO double chin.
I had a tan, and a good self-esteem.
I had makeup on.
My hair was black, I miss that hair.
I want to look like this again.

Whats up dogs?

I am coming at you first of all from HOME!!! YAY!!!
And second of all from my almost new, but VERY improved computer. I got my new monitor, keyboard, and speakers hooked up tonight.
I have been doing a lot of cleaning up and taking off several un-needed programs and files. And I need to back up all my pics on to DVD to free up some more space.

In other news, I dont have a Weight Watchers report because our meeting was cancelled tonight. BOO!!

We are all still trying to get back to normal life around here. The house is a disaster, the washer and dryer are working overtime, and the kids are bouncing off the walls because of the snow and the whole school closure thing!

Just wanted to do a quick check in and let you all know that we did make it home this morning.

Praying to the gods of almighty snow plows

I know I said I love Portland. But I miss home, and I am ready to go home.
I cant believe the beautiful day we had yesterday, and today a giant storm is coming through, I mean GIANT, okay not like the midwest giant blizzard storm, but giant enough to scare the shit out of me about driving across the mountains to get back home. Its nasty out there. Chains are required. HA! We dont have chains.
Somethings gotta give.
Think happy thoughts. Warm thoughts.

The city she loves me....

I love this city.
It is absolutely freaking gorgeous.

It was a beautiful day. We did hit Niketown but was unsuccesful in finding a pair of shoes for me. I found one pair that I loved and they didnt have my size it was so disappointing. Niketown isnt as cool as it used to be, so we made our way up to 23rd street and treated ourselves to a piece of the best chocolate in the world.

I found the coolest little shopping spot up on 23rd. There is a whole section up there that is kinda hidden and I cannot wait to go back with the girls and explore.

We saw this on the way out of Portland. I am still looking for someone brave enough to ride it with me.

It was just an awesome day. I love the city, I love the art, I could walk around all day long and be completely happy. Tomorrow we head to Salem to my mom's house for dinner. Stopping at the outlets on the way to continue the shoe quest.

UGH I dont know why the pics dont show up right, I had a bunch of pics in here but Blogger is cutting about 1/2 of them off so you cant even see the main subject of the picture. But I was able to get one of them on here.

Hey everyone!

I am here at Dennis's moms house, finally got done with training today.
The training was 10 hours long so it made for a really long day. I did win a 25.00 safeway card so that was fun. The drive up here last night was long, got a little lost on the way to the motel but finally got in before 9pm and up to my room. I got to watch that new show "the moment of truth." Did anyone else watch this? I can't believe that people would subject themselves to that kind of embarrassment. One guy had to answer the question if he had ever peeked at his teammates privates in the shower while on the college football team. OMG! And he actually admitted to doing that. Their poor wives having to hear the brutal truths about them acting innaproriatly toward female co-workers, and their honest opinions about marriage, and children, etc. So sad, yet so funny at the same time.

Tomorrow will be a fun day, hanging out with my sweetie in downtown PDX.
